At the Tokyo French Institute, 2009 June 7th, from 6pm, duration:45~55mn

"Marc Brétillot (food designer) and Philippe Chatelain ( visual + sound artist) create an installation-performance around the destruction/construction of a revisited recipe of the Quiche Lorraine, this time, an explosive one. The act of eating is the only one which trigger the 5 senses in a simultaneous way. But of the 5, hearing is the less stimulated. This performance for 4 hands proposes a sound tasting of the Quiche Lorraine Explosion's recipe. The sounds of the transformation of the ingredients are collected, recycled and assembled in realtime. The emblematic recipe of the Quiche Lorraine is reinterpreted spectacularly."
